...A SFOC is still required as per the Current Regulations... (see Transport Canada Website for latest info) New rules are coming from Transport Canada this Year. Fully insured and hold a SFOC from Transport Canada recognizing me as a certified, safe, and responsible operator. Beware of operators who do not have an SFOC as they are operating illegally. Non-recreational & recreational drone: If you use a drone (or UAV) for filming/photos within the City of Prince Albert, (within 5.5km from the airport or 1.8km from the Fire Centre Heli Base) you must get a Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC). The SFOC tells you how and where you are allowed to use your UAV. Professional Aerial Platform Equipment. Transport Approved for urban and rural properties in Prince Albert & Province wide.
